Sales Manager (Grain and Pulses Processing & Packaging) Job in Nairobi Kenya (200K)




Job Title: Sales Manager – Grain and Pulses Processing & Packaging
 



Industry: FMCG
 



Location: Nairobi
 



Salary: Ksh. 150K – 200K
 



Our client is a grains and pulses processing and packaging company.



They seek to recruit a seasoned and results driven individual to fill in the role of a Sales Manager.
 



Main Responsibilities:


  • Manage  sales of the company’s products within defined geographic areas

  • Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel

  • Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings

  • Collaborate with management in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the company

  • Manage  geographical sales areas and product lines to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives

  • Establish and manage effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train sales personnel

  • Manage sales activities on major accounts and negotiate sales price and discounts

  • Manages personnel and develops sales and sales support staff

  • Reviews progress of sales roles throughout the company

  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.

  • Develop specific plans and sales strategies to ensure revenue growth in all the SKUs and improve market share

  • Provides quarterly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity

  • Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.

  • Formulates all sales policies, practices and procedures.

  • Assists sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with  decision-makers


Desired Qualifications:


  • A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred

  • A minimum of 4 years of related sales experience in FMCG industry

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trends information.

  • Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team.

  • Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • A valid driver’s license.
