Job Title: Regional Coordinator – Entrepreneurship

CAP Youth Empowerment Institute Kenya, is supported by MasterCard Foundation, was established to provide Basic Employability Skills Training (BEST) for disadvantaged youth in the society with particular focus on women to get equitable, qualitative learning and access to promising labour market oriented opportunities, savings and credit that support their pathways to safe and positive futures.
The key purpose of the organization is to assist 10,000 disadvantaged youth to make informed choices, develop labour-market oriented employability skills and access job placements, savings and enterprise development support.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To Monitor and follow up Entrepreneurship Facilitators Deliverables (KPIs) for all regions.
- To work with Entrepreneurship Facilitators to ensure Entrepreneurship data is updated consistently on MIS.
- Maintain up to date presentations for the department.
- Organize and support high quality and effective Entrepreneurship events
- Regularly make contacts with entrepreneurs to monitor and report progress and areas of need
- To analyze Entrepreneurship statistics thereby identifying key growth areas, problems and success rate.
- Support growth of partners
- Prepare and analyze Entrepreneurship data/reports.
Requirements
- Relevant Degree Entrepreneurship/Business Management
- Must have leadership and managerial skills.
- Must have knowledge on entrepreneurship environment.
- Must have relevant experience minimum two years in Entrepreneurship.
- Must have ICT Skills.
- Must be mature and with the right attitude.
- Must have passion of working with young people.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle diverse tasks simultaneously using prioritization.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Dynamism, creativity and flexibility.
- Networking skills a must.
