Retail Sales Representative (3 Positions)

Our client, a leading Kenyan Interior Design and Construction Company, is looking to recruit a Retail Sales Representative. 

They looking for people who care about the quality products and services they represent, their customers, and their co-workers. 

She/he MUST be self-motivated, energized, customer service and sales focused.

Key Responsibilities;

• Welcomes customers by greeting them; offering them assistance.


• Advises customers by providing information on products & services.


• Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.


• Documents sale by creating or updating customer profile records.


• Processes payments by totalling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.


• Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.


• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


• Marketing new sales and special events.


• Greeting guests upon arriving in our retail showroom and learning their motivation for their visit.


• Presenting & discussing various home furnishings product options to prospective clients.


• Ensure pricing is correct.


• Check inventory to ensure product is in stock.

Qualifications;

• Must have a degree in business management or equivalent.


• Must have a minimum of 3 years sales experience.


• Experience and/or training in customer service or equivalent.


• Must be computer literate.


• Business financial awareness.


• Great negotiation, organizational & customer care skills.


• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.


• Planning & forecasting skills.


• Relationship building and maintenance skills.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 36,000 – 52,000/= plus commissions (Approx. 360 – 520 USD) depending on experience
