Agronomy & Field Trials Business Manager – East Africa
Our client, a leading Agricultural & Agronomist Testing Services Company based in Kenya is seeking to recruit an Agronomy & Field Trials Business Manager.
The successful candidate MUST have relevant experience working in East Africa to develop independent agronomy services and field trials business.
Key Responsibilities;
- Recruiting and supporting clients to the agronomy service package.
- Develop independent crop trials service to be conducted on behalf of farmers and input suppliers.
- Responsible for evaluating farmers and/or customers plots.
- Develop independent agronomy services and field trials business.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications;
- Must have 7 years experience in crop production and sales.
- Must have a Bachelors Degree in Agronomy or related field.
- Experience in putting out, evaluating and managing field trials.
- Presentation experience to customers/farmers.
- Must have personality and ability to build relationships with farmers and customers.
- Computer literate.
- Must be willing to travel within East Africa.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 300,000/= (Approx. 3,000 USD)
