Our client, a market leader in Animal Processing Industry across Africa is seeking to recruit a Quality Assurance Supervisor.

The ideal candidate shall ensure that the hygiene levels for product, personnel, water and plant comply with the various international standards, regulatory and statutory requirements and that the products from the plant are of the highest quality and safe for human consumption.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting personnel / factory hygiene.
- Control of records and documents.
- Auditing (FSMS internal audits, GMP & 5k Audits).
- OPRPs, PRPs and CCPs monitoring, validation and verification.
- Ensuring corrective action is taken on any deviating standards set.
- Monitoring stock rotations, products specs and customer specifications monitoring.
- Measuring equipment verification checks.
- Coordinating bi-annual food handler’s examinations in liaison with the HR department.
- Product inspection and dispatch.
- Internal training of all staff on FSSC awareness, internal audits, SOPs, and WI.
- Batch testing (sensory evaluation).
Qualifications;
- Diploma/degree in food science & have formal training in food quality control.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position in the FMCG industry.
- ISO 22000 & HACCP certification awareness.
- Good planning and organisational skills.
- A high level of integrity and reliability.
- A team player with attention to detail and follow up.
- Ability to work and deliver under pressure.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 60,000/= (Approx. 600 USD)
