BRCiS has been implementing Resilience projects across seven regions of SC Somalia since November 2013. Through PRA methodologies, BRCiS members identified drought, floods, conflict and diseases as the most rampant shocks in the 7 regions and created community plans adapted to the context of each location. However, BRCiS has been designed as an adaptive programme and the plans have been reviewed with the communities during the last quarter of 2015 and the first quarter of 2016. The initial four years programme is now reaching its midpoint. Another grant, started in December 2015, and for which the inception phase is currently ongoing, has allowed to expand the programme to new locations.
