They seek to hire a Short-Term Consultant to support the operations of the office in Kenya, especially in the implementation of the Regional Project 1. “Vocational and Commercial Education for the Microfinance Sector in Eastern Africa”– and to act as the focal point for Monitoring and Evaluation Activities.


Key Responsibilities



  • Support project activities related to advisory services of our partner organizations ACCOSCA and AMFI-K.

  • Support any other tasks related to the activities of DSIK and its partners in consultation with the Country Directorate and Advisors.

  • Support in conceptualization, preparation, coordination and implementation of workshops and trainings.

  • Support in preparing and conducting baseline studies on DSIK’s Capacity Development and Financial Education projects in Kenya.

  • Support in preparing concept notes for Capacity Development and Financial Education projects in Kenya. 

  • Focal point for Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Activities. Oversee the monitoring and evaluation activities within DSIK in Kenya

  • Liaise with the Regional M&E Expert.

  • Collect data, ensure a high quality of data and consolidate data for M&E.

  • Conducting surveys and analyzing data from different project activities in relation to the project end beneficiaries and developing comprehensive findings report to be shared with the Country Office and the Regional Office.

  • Summarizing findings in comprehensive reports.

  • Administrative support in terms of logistics whenever necessary. 

  • Any other duties as you may be assigned by your superiors.
