Survey Assistant- 7 Positions

REPORTING TO: Survey Officer/ Technician
SUPERVISES: None

Position Summary 

The Survey Assistant will work in close liaison with the Survey Officer/Technician in undertaking complex field surveys for geospatial data acquisition and ensure timely processing and production of plans from the collected field data.

Responsibilities

• Undertake cadastral survey for boundary establishment and resolution of boundary disputes.


• Setting out engineering projects undertaken by the Company.


• Drafting both longitudinal and cross sectional profiles from the collected field data.


• Conducting geodetic surveying on the Company dams for dam safety monitoring.


• Acquiring, collecting and gathering geo-spatial data for updating the Company GIS.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Surveying, Geomatics Engineering, Geospatial Engineering, Geospatial Information Science or any other related field from a recognized institution.


• Have a work experience of at least 2 years in similar work environment


• Good communications and interpersonal skills
