Pulmonologist Job, Medical Kenyan Job Vacancies 2022, 

Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH) is a State Corporation registered under Legal Notice Number 4 of the State Corporations Act Cap 446 in January 2019 as a Level 6 Tertiary Hospital and is now operational offering specialized referral services. The Hospital is seeking to recruit qualified and experienced professionals on a performance-based renewable contract as follows:

PULMONOLOGIST – V/FT/16/2021 – 1 POST

Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating conditions and diseases of the chest, such as asthma, emphysema, tuberculosis, pneumonia and other complicated chest issues


• Performing specialized procedures such as bronchoscopy


• Manages pulmonology-related medical conditions based on knowledge of the indications, contraindications, side effects, interactions and adverse reactions of pharmacologic agents and other relevant treatment


• Conducting research to test or develop new medications or methods of


• Will be part of a multi-disciplinary team in critical care areas Should be able to supervise medical students and registrars.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution


• Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine from a recognized institution


• Fellowship training in Pulmonology from a recognized institution


• Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).


• Recognition as a specialist by the KMPDC


• Valid Practice License


• Professional Insurance Indemnity


• Proficiency in computer applications
