Reporting to the Front Office Supervisor the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that goods are stocked correctly, issued as required and records kept up to date
Job Purpose
To man the front desk in a manner that ensures first class customer service for guests and potential guests.
Indicators of Good Performance on the job
* Front office set standards maintained
* Smooth check-in and check-out for guests
* Accurate guest folios and accounts maintained
* Accurate and timely summaries leading to accurate billing
* Guest complaints kept within set standards
Key Duties
* Welcome guests on arrival
* Open and charge guest folio correctly and on time and prepare guest bills upon check out.
* Provide accurate information requested by guests in a timely and professional manner
* Handle lost and found items in conjunction with the security personnel and track their owners
* Maintain cleanliness at the front desk.
* And any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
* Diploma or a Certificate in front desk operations from Kenya Utalii College or equivalent
* 2-3 years experience
