The Kenya Anti Corruption Commission (KACC) is established by an Act of Parliament, the Anti-Corruption and Economic Crimes Act (2003), to take necessary measures for the prevention of corruption in the public and private sectors; to investigate acts of corruption and economics crimes; to recover public funds/property acquired through corruption; and to enlist members of the public in fighting corruption through education.
The Commission is desirous of competitively recruiting suitable persons to fill vacant positions within its establishment to support its regional expansion program; Successful candidates may be required and should be willing to work either at Headquarter Offices or any of the Regional OfficesEmployment will initially be on contract terms, for a period of four (4) years renewable upon satisfactory performance.Competitive/attractive remuneration packages will be offered.Applicants must be of outstanding honesty and integrity, and should be willing to be subjected to a security vetting processApplicants must be computer-literate to be able to work in a highly computerized environment.Applicants MUST quote the reference number for the position applied for on the application letter and envelopeCanvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.

Reporting to the Principal Officer -Education through the Senior Officer – Education
Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the design, development and production of IEC material connected with the Commission’s anti-corruption, ethics integrity educational programsOffer creativity and innovation in the design and production of the Department’s IEC materials with a focus towards incorporating anti-corruption, ethics and integrity messages with artistic illustrationsDevelop liaison with graphic designers, illustrators, editors and printers to ensure that the Department’s anticorruption, ethics and integrity IEC material and messages meet the highest standards and expectationsDevelop strategies and conduct actual dissemination of the Commission’s IEC material in the public, private and civil society sectors in KenyaReview the Department’s IEC material in consultation with supervisor and other relevant stakeholders to ensure their effectiveness and efficacy as tools for anti-corruption public educationDevelop generic and IEC – specific budgets, work plans and outlines that assist in the achievement of the Department’s strategic objectivesAssist in the planning, budgeting and facilitation of anti corruption training at a range of levels in the public, private and civil society sectorsDevelop Work Plans and outlines that structure the work of the DepartmentDevelop liaison and networks with institutions in the public and private sphere in promotion of ethics-integrity, governance and anti-corruption programs
Qualifications A Bachelors degree in Education with specialization in Fine Arts or Graphics Design from a recognized UniversityHolders of Masters or Post-graduate qualification will have an added advantageAt least 6 years relevant experience in the design, development and production of IEC materialMust have excellent skills and ability to use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design, Edit Suites and other relevant computer packagesMust have experience in designing and developing Information, Education and Communication materialsExcellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skillsInvolvement in the design and production of civic/public education materials and programs would be an added advantage.
