KU Law Lecturing Jobs in Kenya

Kenyatta University wishes to recruit qualified and dedicated applicants to fill the following vacant positions
Applicants must be holders of a PhD degree in Law from a recognized University and have at Least a Second Class Honors in Bachelor of Laws degree or its equivalent.
In addition applicants must have the following:Twelve (12) years of university teaching as Lecturer and above, at Least five (5) of which as fuLL time Associate ProfessorSuccessfully supervised at (east four (4) Masters students and at (east two (2) PhD students since being appointed as Associate ProfessorAt Least four (4) articles in refereed journals, since being appointed as Associate ProfessorEvidence of successfully applying for a grant either individually or as a group since being appointed as Associate ProfessorEvidence of active participation in departmental activities and good quality teachingEvidence of attendance and contribution at Learning conferences, seminars or workshops
Applicants must be holders of a PhD degree in Law or its equivalent from a recognized University and have at Least a Second Class Honors in Bachelor of Laws degree.
In addition applicants must have the following:Eight (8) years of university teaching, four (4) of which as full time Senior LecturerSuccessfully supervised at Least four (4) Master students and one (1 ) PhD student, since being appointed Senior LecturerAt least four (4) articles in refereed journals since being appointed as Senior LecturerEvidence of successfully applying for a grant either individually or as a group since being appointed as Senior LecturerEvidence of active participation in departmental activities and good quality teachingEvidence of attendance and contribution at Learning conferences, seminars or workshops
Applicants must be holders of a PhD degree in Law from a recognized University and have at least a Second Class Honors in Bachelor of Laws degree.
In addition applicants must have the following:At least five (5) years of university teaching, three (3) of which as full time LecturerAt least three (3) articles in refereed Journals since being appointed LecturerSuccessful supervision of at least three (3) Masters studentsEvidence of applying for a grant either individually or as a group since being appointed as LecturerEvidence of active participation in departmental activities and good quality teachingEvidence of attendance and contribution at Learning conferences, seminars or workshops
Applicants must be holders of at least Master of Laws degree from a recognized University and have at least a Second Class Honors (Upper Division) in Bachelor of Laws degree.
In addition applicants must have registered for PhD degree and shown satisfactory progress.
Applicants must be holders of Master of Laws degree in the related field from a recognized University and have at Least a Second Class Honors (Upper Division) in Bachelor of Laws degree. In addition applicants must also be prepared to pursue a PhD degree in their area of specialization.
Teaching experience will be an added advantage.
The terms of service for the teaching posts of Lecturers and above include membership to a Pension Scheme, a generous Medical Scheme, a House Allowance and a Commuting Allowance
The application Letter should give full details of Educational and Professional qualifications, Work Experience, Present Post and Salary, applicant’s telephone number and E-mail address; copies of certificates and testimonials should also be enclosed giving the names and addresses of three (3) Referees who are up-to-date with the applicant’s competence and area of specialization. Applicants should request their Referees to write immediately and directly to the undersigned.
