Network Mobility Consultant
We currently require a Network Mobility Consultant to join their Projects team. The role will involve the design, Implementation and Support of secure Cisco mobility solutions associated networking to our customers.
Skills RequirementsMinimum 5 Years Cisco Networking Experience
Implementing and/or supporting Cisco environments
Design & implementation of Secure Cisco Wireless Networks
Experience of both Autonomous and Light-weight wireless environments
Design & implementation of Guest Wireless Networks
Ability to design and implement guest wireless network following customer requirements
Ability to configure and manage wireless networks using WCS or Cisco Prime NCS
Demonstrable experience of using wireless management systems
Design and implementation of multi-layer Network Security solutions
Firewalls, IPS and end-point security
Understanding what implementing a BYOD strategy means to the network
How do you enable a network to support a BYOD strategy without compromising the security or integrity of the network
Experience with Log Event management products
Implementation and using as a tool for troubleshooting and forensic investigation.
Demonstrable experience of implementing and managing an IPS environment
Experience of implementing or managing Location aware wireless networks
Surveys, implementation and troubleshooting
Experience of the new Cisco Wireless and security products.
Identity Services Engine, Mobility Services Engine
Able to conduct Wireless Site Surveys
Campus routing and Switching experience
Knowledge and expeience of network routing and switching used in medium to large campus networks
Knowledge of other Wireless products
Knowledge of other security vendors Checkpoint, Juniper,
Checkpoint, Juniper, MacAfee, Sourcefire
Knowledge and experience of E-mail and web filtering products and technologies
Demonstrable knowledge and experience of securing e-mail and web users.
Profile of ideal candidate:

· Pre-Sales experience
· Network Integrator or Network Distributor experience
· Experience of managing vendor TAC cases
Details of Working environment
· Reporting to Technical Services Director
· Size of projects: 20 to 2000 users
· Work will include Full Lifecycle Services. Planning, Design, Implementation, Supporting and Improving Network Security and Wireless solutions
· Working hours will nominally be 09:00 – 17:30, however a degree of flexibility is required due to the nature of the projects and the needs of our customers.
· Majority UK customers, mainly South-East, some international travel may be required
· Overtime will be paid for Out of Hours work
· Access to Gold Partner Security Lab
