Our client an up-market 100 seat steak-house in Kampala is looking for a highly experienced Executive Chef

Executive Chef

The candidate needs to have at least 10 years restaurant experience with a minimum of 3 as an Executive Chef.  Butchery and Grill experience is required  Ability to build and lead a successful teamHAACP hygiene experience would be useful but not essentialHardworking person with sober mindAble to work well with minimal supervisionWell spoken with good EnglishA computer literateAble to oversee the hotels Kitchen high standards are well maintainedA person of good characterRelevant education to the hotel industry is required. E.g Food production, culinary Arts, Food Management etc

Remuneration and benefits

A net salary of $ 2,000 per month (30% paid in Ugandan shillings and subject to tax at the ruling rate and 70% paid as a tax free gratuity.)A housing allowance of UGX 400,000/= per monthLocal medical coverA food cost bonus if budget is bettered of $ 200 per monthAfter one completed year of service a profit share incentive scheme to be discussed directly with the owners
