[Full-time] Plant Manager at Hallmark Recruitment

Our client, a leader in the manufacturer of high end animal feeds is looking for a Plant Manager to oversee the overall plant operations for their facility in Nakuru.

Knowledge, Skills and Experienced Required
• Graduate in Sciences or a related field
• Professional qualification in milling, is an added advantage
• Minimum six years’ experience in Production Management and Plant Operations with at least three years at a senior management level
Key Result Areas
• Coordinating production of quality products in line with agreed production plans and costs
• Ensuring proper maintenance of Plant and Machinery.
• Ensure all KPI’s are achieved while staying within the site budget
• Ensuring optimum stock holding of all materials and spares consistent with requirements
• Ensuring that Safety, Health and Environment regulations and rules are adhered to
• Overseeing performance of staff including their deployment, learning and development and welfare in line with company policy.
• Ensuring PaTaMu designated initiatives are implemented leading to continual productivity
