Duties and Responsibilities:? Developing and executing growth strategies for the business division ? Electronic and mechanical diagnostics and repairs of equipment
? Initiate, implement, and manage an equipment maintenance program, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance.
? Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering as necessary.
? Establish and maintain a maintenance system for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of serviced equipment.
? Ensure an effective staff management process in the department is in place and is operational; recruitment, induction/orientation, performance management, discipline and growth and development.
? Ensures that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance targets can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
? In conjunction with the HR manager, resolving health and safety, legal and security issues
? Maintain and update operating and training manuals for the service centre
? Secures machinery and equipment by implementing security systems and measures.
? Maintains the stability and reputation of the centre by complying with legal requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
? Degree or diploma in mechanics or a related technical field and five years experience in maintenance and/or operation of a workshop
• Experience with repairs and maintenance of machinery, tools and equipment
? High energy, self drive and entrepreneurial spirit is a must for this position
