Tanzanian National Sales & Marketing Manager – FMCG company in Arusha, Tanzania
Our client, a rapid developing FMCG company in Arusha is looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager to maximize company sales and revenue. Tanzanian Citizenship or valid non-attached work permit IS A MUST.
Key Responsibilities:
To set up an operational budget for the department based on agreed sales targets and projections.
To recruit suitably qualified sales and marketing personnel who are result oriented and to provide competent, effective and efficient “hands-on” leadership and training for the most cost-effective achievement of the department results.
To ensure that the company’s products reach maximum number of customers in good fresh quality and at the earliest opportunity through an efficient distribution system.
To monitor competition, supply and demand and capitalize on marketing opportunities.
Set up a system of a weekly sales forecast that may be used by the factory for production and stock holding purposes.
To recommend, initiate and participate in product development and to carry out marketing survey thereof.
To ensure that the company products in various sales outlets are properly rotated to ensure maximum shelf life, by use of properly trained merchandisers.
To develop suitable products and distribution systems for the mass market in order to achieve faster volume and revenue growth for the company.
To initiate plans for export of company’s products into East African region, including and particularly the D. R. Congo.
Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelors degree in Sales & Marketing or relevant
Must have 5+ years of proven track record in generating sales and converting deals
Outstanding presentation skills
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Kiswahili
Very good negotiation skills
FMCG experience
Tanzanian citizenship or valid work permit in Tanzania is a MUST.
Monthly gross salary: TZ. 2,000, 000 /= (Approx. USD)
