We are a leading multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy firm based in Nairobi but with presence in East Africa.
Our operations require a robust and efficient Human Resource person to manage the employees who are the driving force in our business.
We seek to engage a qualified and motivated Human Resource Officer (HRO) who will be reporting to the Managing Director.
Role Summary: To institute and implement internal control measures as well as industry best practices that will ensure proper human resource management in the organization at all times.
Job Description
- Overseeing the whole process of recruitment and Selection
- Ensuring optimal career and personal development of staff
- Institute measures and strategies that will ensure fair exchange between the organization and the employees
- Managing HR administration duties
- Providing HR general services to management such as formulation and implementation of workplace policies
- Responsible for the general staff well-being by fostering safe, healthy, and harmonious work environment
- Assumes other duties as may be deemed necessary by management/ the roles of the profession
Qualifications and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource or Business Related Degree with at least Four (4) years relevant proven work experience (a HND in Human Resource Management with proven 10 years work experience would also be considered).
- Proven experience in ISO Certification and in construction industry will be an added advantage.
- A member of IHRM (or proven qualified for IHRM membership)
- Very good level of computer skills
- High sense of confidentiality and accuracy
