Almasi
Beverages Ltd is a company which was born out of a merger of three Coca-Cola
bottling companies of Rift Valley Bottlers, Kisii Bottlers and Mount Kenya
Bottlers. Almasi’s purpose is to increase shareholder value by manufacturing,
packaging, distributing and selling Coca-Cola products.
Within
its two years of existence, the company has transformed itself into a highly

workforce and professional leadership. In order to cement and establish
sustainability of the gains, the company is looking for capable people to
deliver on the following roles:
Based
in Kisii, Eldoret or Nyeri and reporting to the General Manager.
The
role will be responsible for carrying out sales forecast and the development of
operational strategies at the regional level to ensure the sale and
profitability of the full range of our products. The role will conduct analysis
on business, industry and total market trends to inform strategic decisions and
actions.
Will
be accountable for the regions sales performance and the continuous growth and
maintenance of market share and will ensure value creation and commercial
business growth through the establishment and maintenance of strong business
relationships with our customers and other related stakeholders.
More
specifically the role will be responsible for regional business growth and the
achievement of targets in volume, revenue, market & trade development, new
business and staff development. It will establish and oversee the
implementation of functional business plans /budgets to realize value for
money.
We are
looking for an energetic, business focused, results driven manager who can work
in high pressure and high performance change environment. The role requires a
versatile, quick learner and adaptable team player and team developer.
The
person will have at least 7 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing Management
of which at 4 years must be at the level of a senior sales Manager in a fast
moving consumer goods (FMCG) organization. Experience in the beverage industry
will be an added advantage. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelors’
degree and professional qualifications in sales and marketing. Must have a
valid driving license and be of unquestionable character with outstanding
leadership skills.
ABL/HR/JAD-018/16: Quality Assurance Manager
Based
in Kisii, Nyeri or Eldoret and reporting to the Plant General Manager.
The
role will provide expert input in formulation, execution and review of plant
operational strategies in the area of quality management and will assist in the
development of annual budgets relating to the production of quality products.
It will be fully accountable for total quality management (TQM) in the plant
hence assuring quality through the total value chain from incoming materials to
the final product in the market.
Develop
and provide oversight for all quality control procedures including the
verification of test results in line established TCCQS and statutory standards
and specifications for both quality and quantity.
The
role maintains excellent customer relations in handling all customer complaints
relating to the quality of our products by conducting technical investigations
and providing solutions to the company and satisfaction to the customer. The
role will develop and from time to time review sanitization and hygiene
procedures to continually improve standards within the plant and manage and
develop staff in the quality assurance department.
We are
looking for a customer centric, honest and highly experienced Quality assurance
professional with a minimum five (5) years’ experience in quality control and
assurance in a large and very busy FMCG organization. He or she will be ready
to work under pressure and meet the expectations of both internal and external
stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess
a
bachelors’ degree in food science and technology or related and have specific
qualifications in quality assurance management. Candidates experienced in
working with ERPs will stand high chances of consideration and experience in
the Coca Cola system will be an added advantage.
ABL/HR/JAD-019/16: Production Shift Supervisor
Based
in Kisii, Nyeri or Eldoret and reporting to the Production Manager.
The
role will be responsible for the daily planning of production work and
execution of the day’s plan to achieve agreed target.
The
role will among other tasks perform daily allocation of work to shift staff,
monitor production line operations to ensure optimum line utilization,
coordinate response to line downtimes, manage GMP at the production plant and
environment and ensure the production of high quality products in close liaison
with the quality assurance team.
The
role will supervise, appraise and develop a large team of production shift
staff and will maintain records of the total production process on a daily
basis.
We are
looking for a versatile and hands on food processing professional with a
minimum three (3) years’ experience at a supervisory level in a very busy food
processing plant. He/she must be a graduate in Food science and technology or
related. Must have worked in an ISO certified production environment.
Experience in carbonated beverages production will be an added advantage. He /
She will work in ERP environment hence previous experience in manufacturing
ERPs will count.
ABL/HR/JAD-020/16: Operations Supervisor
Based
in Kisii, Nyeri or Eldoret and reporting to the Operations Manager.
The
role will be responsible for the daily planning of distribution operations work
and execution of the day’s plan to achieve agreed targets. The role will among
other tasks perform daily allocation of work to operations staff including
loading, offloading & warehouse assistants, truck drivers among
others.
The
role will be accountable for inventory in the plant both in full goods and empty
containers , customer satisfaction in relation to timely and in full delivery
of customer orders and the effective management of staff to achieve set
targets. Effective and efficient fleet management will be a key success factor
in this role.
We are
looking for a hands on, apt and experienced planner with highly developed
coordination skills. The ideal candidate will be of high integrity having hands
on experience in the management of operations in a high produce – to – stock
organization. He or she must have a minimum three (3) years’ experience at a
supervisory level in a very fast consumer goods distribution
organization.
The
successful candidate will have a bachelors’ degree in Supply Chain management,
Business administration or related.
Qualifications
in Accounting will be an added advantage. He / she must be ready to work for
long hours under pressure and must have highly developed and applied
interpersonal skills.
ABL/HR/JAD-021/16: Cooler / Refrigeration
Technician
Based
at Nyeri, Kisii or Eldoret and reporting to the Area Sales Manager.
The
role will be responsible for maintenance of market refrigeration equipment,
performing repairs, input into the formulation of maintenance budgets for
market equipment and conducting dealer education on use of cooling equipment to
minimize misuse and downtime.
The
successful candidate will possess a diploma in refrigeration systems and must
have a minimum 3 years’ experience in the repair and maintenance of
refrigeration systems in a busy organization. He/she must be able to work with
least supervision and be of unquestionable integrity.
The
candidate must possess a valid driving license and be an experienced rider.
ABL/HR/JAD-022/16: Engineering Technician
Based
at Nyeri, Kisii or Eldoret and reporting to the Production Manager.
The
role will be responsible for operating different equipment in the production
line, routine maintenance of the line and attending to occasional line
breakdowns to ensure high mechanical efficiency and high line utilization
The
successful candidate will possess a diploma in Engineering ( Mechatronics) and
must have a minimum 2 years’ experience in technical operations of a production
line in a very busy organization. He/she must be able to work under pressure,
be apt and keen on completing tasks within highly ambitious lead-times without
compromising quality.
Experience
in working in an ISO certified environment is requisite and having worked with
carbonated beverage production line is an added advantage
