Service Bay Supervisor Job in Nairobi, Kenya

investment Ltd company located in Nairobi involved in working with other

Investment companies and Petrol station business activities is looking to fill

the position of a Service

Bay Supervisor who will

report to the Station Manager.
 

Job

Purpose / Summary: To

supervise the service bay and ensure that customers are attended to promptly

and their needs are fully met. Services offered at the service bay include;

Pitstop service, tyre centre, car wash and sales at the lubes office.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure
  
  the entire service area staff are smart and presentable


• Ensure
  
  proper merchandising of products at the Lubes office.


• In
  
  conjunction with the line manager assign daily/shift based duties to
  
  service area staff


• Ensure
  
  a clean working environment adhering to the housekeeping, security, health
  
  and safety standards of Total Kenya Ltd and Bill Investments Ltd.


• To
  
  handle any customer complaints and cases of staff disobedience arising at
  
  the service bay (this should be reported to the manager in the daily
  
  briefing).


• Suggest
  
  and recommend improvements to staff related matters.


• Aim
  
  for the highest product sales to each customer

• To
  
  supervise the Pitstop mechanics and greasers who perform oil change and
  
  greasing services.

• Offer
  
  car wash/engine wash to customers at a fee with purpose of increasing the
  
  customer base through diversification.

• Ensure
  
  the provision of specialized tyre care service to customers such as sale
  
  of tyres, puncture repair and tyre change, wheel balancing and maintenance
  
  of good housekeeping standards at the tyre centre

Key Performance Indicators

• Smooth
  
  and improving operations at the service bay areas


• Elimination
  
  of fraudulent activities on the service bay areas


• Comments
  
  received from customers on service and mystery motorist reports


• Increased
  
  sales in the three departments above


• Communication
  
  with senior management

• Education/Experience:


• Form
  
  4 KCSE Certificate or Equivalent


• Certificate
  
  of Good Conduct


• Pleasant
  
  and service oriented personality

• Work
  
  under minimum supervision


• Offer
  
  leadership direction


• Organizational
  
  and communication skills
