Demand Management Analyst Job in Kenya

Detailed Description

Reporting to the Digital Delivery Lead, the position holder will responsible for forecasting and planning for resource demand for both business tribes and core IT.

Key Responsibilities

• Quarterly PI planning and dependency management between IT and business and handling IT demand management from Tribes and business units
• Closely coordinate, manage and communicate IT Quarterly plans.
• Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process
• Achieve consensus between IT, Tribes and business units demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process with the teams:  Prepare relevant material to facilitate research and discussion
• Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process
• Establish, maintain and utilize forecasting and communication tools for accomplishing demand management. Lead the process to design and implement demand planning tools.
• Maintain demand planning system and software: Enter and modify data and ensure the data integrity, monitor demand trends, Identify relevant market-related data and competitive intelligence
  
  
  
• Participate in the development and evaluation of what-if scenarios (simulations) to anticipate and resolve demand/supply imbalances
• Identify changes, risks, opportunities, and remedial actions.
• Accountable for monitoring the performance of the demand process and continually improving output and accuracy.
• Responsible to develop the demand management and control processes and rules governing acceptance of new demand requests with the available capacity in IT

 Qualifications

 Must have technical / professional qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, IT or Engineering.

·         Experience in running large and complex programs, PI planning and demand management in organizations

·         Strong computational and analytical skills

·         Experience in agile principles and processes within large engineering organizations

·         Advanced research and analytical skills

·         Professional experience and knowledge of digital and Telecommunications industries strongly preferred
