Eastern Produce Kenya IT Systems Administrator Job to be based in Nandi Hills

This position is available with our client, Eastern Produce Kenya Ltd., a leading tea producer.

Reporting to the Nairobi based IT Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing IT support, systems maintenance and systems development services in their extensive estates and factories in the Nandi Hills area.

Among the key tasks to be undertaken will be:-

Configuring and supporting software applications;Managing IT security and continuity, including data backups, disaster recovery procedures and updating of anti-virus software.Diagnosing and correcting networking problems;Analysing user requirements, procedures and problems in order to provide effective solutions.Maintaining and servicing all computer hardware and equipment including electronic scales, printers etc.
Ensuring that all installed software conforms to the company's standards;Preparing regular reports and maintaining up to date logs of all systems events;
Training users so that they make better use of the company's substantial investment in IT software and hardware
Identifying existing and emerging technologies and evaluating their possible utilization and applicability for the business.
Minimum qualifications, experience and other requirements

Applications are invited from Kenya citizens aged 27-35 years, who:-

Hold a Bachelor's degree in ICT with a professional qualification such as MCSE or MCSA or MCITP or MCTS and CCNA.Have at least three years IT support experience handling integrated software systems and SQL database administration.Knowledge of ERP systems and payroll systems will be an added advantage.Our client will offer an attractive remuneration package including a competitive salary, housing, utilities, car allowance, medical and pension benefits.
