Internal Auditor

Accounting / Finance / Auditing
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer the Internal Auditor will be responsible for the Audit function of the Board

Job Requirements:

A Bachelor Degree in Commerce (Accounting/Audit option) or Business Administration and CPA IIIMinimum of 3 years experience in a busy audit office preferably in the public sector or a large private enterpriseDemonstrate good knowledge of planning and organization skillsPerson of high integrityDemonstrated ability to prepare reports and meet deadlinesBe familiar with Kenya Government policies and its procurement and financial proceduresComputer literacy

Job Responsibilities:

Control and Coordination of the Audit Section and maintenance of high audit standards within the BoardProper preparation and supervision of Audit programme for financial, operational and management auditsPreparation of timely financial audit reportsMaking recommendation on cost effective controls adoptionEnsure compliance with laid down policies, procedures and regulations
