Algeria Government Scholarships 2011/2012

The Government of Algeria is offering five (5) Scholarships to Kenyan students in the following specialties:

(a) Undergraduate Courses in French Language

Medicine: One (01)Dental Surgery: One (01)Agronomy: One (01)Eligibility

The applicants for undergraduate should be:

Holders of a minimum of KCSE grade B (Plain) with strong grades in the subjects relevant to the desired course (at least B Plain)Under 23 years of ageThose who completed school not more than three years ago and have original KCSE Certificate.(b) Postgraduate (Masters and Doctorate) in French language
Mathematics and informatics: One (01)Science of matter: One (01)Eligibility

The applicants for Postgraduate should be:

Those serving in the Public SectorThose who have completed at least two (2) years of continuous service since their last degree studiesThose who graduated in the last ten (10) yearsUnder 34 years for Masters and have 1st or Upper 2nd class Honours degree from a recognized universityUnder 44 years for PhD degree and must be holders of Masters degree from a recognized universityApplication Procedure

Preliminary application forms are obtainable from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology offices at Telposta Towers, 27th floor room 2702.

Candidates for postgraduate courses should submit their application forms through their heads of departments.

Completed application forms with attached certified photocopies of ID, academic/professional certificates, transcripts, Birth Certificate, other testimonials and a proposal in the area of study should be sent to:

The application forms should reach the Ministry not later than 1st August 2011.

NB: Applications for Morocco Government Scholarships whose advert appeared in the media on 20th July, should reach the Ministry not later than 27th July, 2011.
