Successful candidate will work across GE businesses and Corporate teams to ensure a successful strategic and commercial partnership with the respective city.
- Understanding the city’s challenges and its current and future needs.- Developing projects with local government to build innovative solutions (smart grids, green hospitals, transport ICS, green mobility, street lighting, smart water, micro CHP…), leveraging GE’s technology and process know-how.
- Building and maintaining the relationships with key stakeholders and influencers including government, utilities, clusters etc.
- Executing GE’s growth strategy locally (go-to-market, innovation, partnership, PR and communication): monitoring, pipeline development,…
- Identifying sales opportunities for GE products, coordinating cross-business proposals for request for proposals (RFPs).
- At the target city, leads and coordinates “One GE approach” with key public customers, in close coordination with business leaders and City Initiative team.
- Leveraging City Initiative’s Market Development Manager, Innovation Manager and Financial Solutions Manager toward successful delivery of best practice cases to be shared globally.- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business degree or equivalent.
- Professional experience in Commercial/Sales leadership roles.
- Outstanding project management skills incl. commercial assessments of business cases.
- Ability to represent projects with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of GE and its products.
- Customer centric approach – ability to understand how to proactively identify customer needs.
- Demonstrated GE values and Growth leadership traits.
- Integrity: accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others.
- Knowledge of the city key stakeholders and influencers and the ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships.
