Position: HR and Admin Officer

Department: Finance and Support services

Reports To: Head of Finance and Support services

Nature and Scope of the Position

The position is responsible for providing support in the various HR functions and provides advice and assistance to the line managers and staff.

Ensure smooth running of the office in general

Duties

Provide support to line managers and staff to develop the skills and capabilities of staffAssistant QMR running with the ISO processes and proceduresSupport Line managers monitor staff performanceAssist Head of Finance in payroll management Co-ordinate staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staffProvide information and assistance to staff and line managers on HR and work related issuesAssisting line managers to understand and implement policies and proceduresRunning with the Internship programmeInterpreting and advising on employment legislationAssist in managing the firms internal communication and employee Engagement/retention processesMaintaining records relating to staffListening to grievances and implementing disciplinary actionAnalyzing training needs in conjunction with line managersOrganize orientation and induction for all new employeesTo ensure smooth operations of the companyEnsuring proper utilization and maintenance of equipments, assets and facilitiesHandles housekeeping, general cleanliness and procurement of stationary i.e. efficient and effecting working environmentJob Specification

· Degree in B.COM-HR/MGT

· 2 Years Experience

· 2 Years experience in the same position and a professional qualification will be an added advantage

· Good organizational skills

· Aggressive and Result Oriented

· Highly motivated

· Good problem solving skills

· Good leadership qualities and people oriented skills

· Ability to work under pressure

· Trustworthy

· Team player

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Strong customer relation skills

Complexity and difficulty of the work
