Job Purpose: To provide secure, reliable, resilient and efficient ICT services that will provide users with tools that will enhance productivity throughout Kenya Airports Authority and the Stakeholders.
Background and Scope: To work very closely with business system owners and users to ensure that business solutions implemented meet or exceed internal customer requirements, and that improvements are continuously identified and implemented
Main Responsibilities
Develop ICT Services Delivery Policies and standards and ensure they are fully implementedEnsure that all user systems are secure and data integrity is maintained all the timeTo review and recommend on infrastructure and systems upgrades in line with changing business and technology needsTo ensure that systems are supported as per service level agreements with usersProvide the Authority and other authorized users with a secure and reliable working desktop environment that will enhance productivity throughout the companyEnsure provision of timely and accessible responsive service/help desk that supports the ICT usersBuild, maintain and regularly test ICT Business Continuity Plan and implement necessary Disaster Recovery policies and procedures and site that would enable the Authority Operations to run in case of a disasterUndertakes research in conjunction with the ICT Services Development Manager to get and evaluate new products to ensure the Authority continues to take leverage of Technology developments in the IndustryMaintains an up to date inventory for the entire Authority’s ICT asset portfolio for effective planningDevelop the ICT Services Delivery budget and control the cost centreProvides leadership to the ICT Services Delivery teamEnsures the effective implementation and maintenance of KAA Quality Management SystemAny other duties as assigned from time to timeQualifications and Experience:
University degree in IT or related fieldMSCE, CCNA or similar CertificationUNIX/Windows -knowledge and applicationMinimum of 5 years experience in a busy ICT environment with at least 2 years as a service delivery leader.Applicants are expected to be of “High Integrity and no criminal record”
