The successful applicant will be responsible for chauffeuring the Executive Director safely for his official duties.
He will also ensure that the Executive Director is driven safely to specified locations at specified times or to destinations and times determined by the Director or his Personal Assistant.
Key roles and responsibilities:
Must have a KSCE certificateMust have a valid, clean driving licence ( BCE) and a valid certificate of good conductAt least 5 years of driving experience. Experience in a similar position will be an added advantageNo drugs or criminal recordKnowledge in operating and maintaining 4WD vehiclesMust have good knowledge and experience of Nairobi roads and destinations including various officesAbility to follow both oral and written instructionsWorking knowledge of the rules and regulations involved in the safe and efficient operation of vehiclesKnowledge of basic vehicle maintenance proceduresAbility to operate a van or small busGood personal hygiene and pleasant dispositionWillingness to work on a flexible scheduleGood interpersonal, communication (English & Kiswahili written and spoken) a must.Consistent attention to travel and geographical details (location, time, weather e.t.c.Willing to be a resident driverAbility to deal effectively and patiently with othersHigh integrityThis is a challenging opportunity for a dedicated and highly motivated professional, with a strong commitment to his work.
