Demand Generation Manager Kenya and Tanzania, Uganda
The Demand Generation Manager is responsible to improve the technical support and activities to promote Dow AgroSciences products to the customers of primarily in Kenya, and some support in Tanzania and Uganda that enhance the demand creation for our portfolio. He/She will follow up at customer level, Technical Engineers (T.E.), promoters and all promoters’ activities.
He/She is accountable for his/her Travel Expenses Budget.
He/she reports to the Dow AgroSciences Commercial Manager for Africa.
The job is located in Nairobi ( Kenya)
RESPONSABILITIES:

He is responsible for the follow up of the Technical Engineers of our customers.
*
He is responsible to build up professional and effective promotion activities that could help the sales force to achieve their goals.
*
He is key member of Dow AgroSciences cross functional project Teams.
*
He leads the responses to customers’ technical questions and claims, in co-operation with R&D.
*
He is responsible to create technical product positioning & testing the product concepts in the market.
*
He speeds launch of new products.
*
He is responsible to build and achieve his working plan with customers in primarily in Kenya, and some support in Tanzania and Uganda.
*
He leads the demo trials program based on the trials protocols prepared by R&D.
*
He is responsible of the hiring process in case we need temporary promoters.
*
He defines and organizes the training needs for customer promoters and T.E.
*
Business intelligence activity: He is tracking competitors and competition products information. He understands customer needs and prepares comparisons between Dow AgroSciences products and competition. He passes all information to commercial and R&D groups. He tracks counterfeited offers for Dow AgroSciences molecules.

He helps identify growth opportunities.
*
He is responsible for the product presentations to customers; with the support of R&D especially for new product.
*
He is responsible for technical claim management. He could request the support of R&D people especially for the newly registered products.
*
He follows the company rules, protects company image and equipment.
*
He supports East Africa R&D trials activities primarily in Kenya, and some support in Tanzania and Uganda (helping sample management, visiting trial sites, pushing for data collection....).
Qualifications
Competencies :
- Graduate from Agricultural University ( Master or Bachelor in Agonomy ) can be beginner or with few years experience. Knowledge in plant protection is a must.
- Fluent in English and Swahili
- Very good in organizing things and good capacity to work in a team.
- Very good computer skills.
- Driving licence required
