Our Client, a leading service industry with diverse business portfolio in Kenya is seeking to hire a Male Group Human Resource Manager to be responsible for the design, development and implementation of HR strategies that will deliver employee engagement, retention, efficiency and productivity, in alignment to the Group’s business strategy.
Ensure implementation of an innovative and progressive hr policies and procedures that ensure consistency in work performance, decision making and reportingAdvise and guide the management on all hr function decisions while ensuring legal compliance, business profitability and ethicsOffer support in handling of all employee disciplinary and industrial relations issues while maintaining good industrial relationsCo-ordinate all recruitment matters, succession and career planning, promotion and staff training and developmentTalent sourcing, development and retention including carrying out annual talent reviews and implementing agreed outcomeEnhancing the right culture and creating ownership of the Group’s values, vision and mission and driving change in line with business goalsTo prepare annual HR budget and foresee the department’s needs and plan for the same.Coordinating health and safety at workplace with aim of reducing occupational accidents and ensuring all necessary legal compliance and timely auditsManage periodical review all Companywide contracts/ offer letters so as to ensure compliance with Company policy, local legislation / labour laws in order to ensure that contracts are very transparent to the understanding of the candidate and the interests of the employer are legally protected and binding on the employee. This will include researching policies /procedures that are realistic and in synch with the global HR market practices and that support the Company’s objective of becoming an employer of choice.Ensuring the Group’s compensation policy is applied fairly and reviewed regularly to meet the needs of all partiesProviding timely and accurate staff payroll details while ensuring they are paid correctly, legally and a timely mannerPrepare HR data and performance measurement reports to the management.The successful candidate will be required to have a university degree in humanities and a post graduate diploma in human resource management. He will need to have a minimum of 7 years’ Hands on experience as a Senior HR Manager in busy commercial environment. The ideal candidate will need to have experience in HRIS, talent management, HR analytics and driving performance.
