Our client, a leading world class supplier of industrial and domestic appliances is seeking to recruit a Assistant Product Manager – Home Entertainment.
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reporting to: Sales and Marketing Director
Job Location: Head Office, Nairobi
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure growth of assigned product categories.
- Have full product knowledge of assigned product categories and train the sales team on them
- Have market data for all these products and generating and presenting reports on the same
- Maintain and enhance relationships with dealers
- Keep up to date information on all competitor products in this area
- Forecasting quantities for these categories
- Evaluating and enhancing the product line up
- Carrying out product training
- Coming up with and implementing promotions and marketing activities
- Any other duties as may be assigned by superior
- Over 5 years experience in sales
- Previous experience in a product management role is an added advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- Excellent leadership skills
- Organizational, research and time-management skills
- Technology savvy
