Job Description
Kenya Movement of Catholic Professionals (KMCP) Pax Romana
Vacancy Announcement: Volunteer Coordinator
Duration: Initial 6 Months (Renewable)
Supervisor: National Executive Team (NEC) and/or their Delegate
Duties
Project planning and implementation, including needs assessments, setting goals and objectives.
Mobilization of participants for all events and activities of KMCP.
Participate in project budget planning and development in Conjunction with NEC.
Establishing project work plan and schedules; monitors, reviews and evaluates project progress.
Proposal writing and developing concept notes from the need analysis and sourcing for donors.
Coordinates and attends meetings; establishes and maintains internal and external contacts as necessary.
Review the project schedule with NEC and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities and revise the schedule as required.
Write activity reports on the project for NEC and for partners.
Monitor all budgeted project expenditures and activities.
Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures.
Ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date under the leadership of the National Treasurer.
Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation for partners as outlined in funding agreements under the leadership of the National Treasurer.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences.
Experience in NGO, CBO or Not-for Profit Organization management and engagements.
Computer literate with vast experience in social media engagements and communications.
Practising Catholic with a sound understanding of the Catholic Doctrines.
Note: There is NO SALARY attached to the above named position.
KMCP will pay a monthly stipend and facilitate the Volunteer Coordinator to carry out his or her assigned duties.
