Business Development Executive

Business Development Role Description:

Reporting to the Team Leader, Business Development, the role is responsible for meeting sales targets within designated sectors and territories resulting in increased market share and visibility of the Company brands in the market.

Responsibilities

Participate in preparation of budgets for the unit and ensure compliance to approved budget.

Develop an excellent and complete understanding of the company products and services and how they meet the needs of designated customer segments and the market.

Compile sales pipeline and forecasts.

Develop a base for longterm sources of clients through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face, cold calling on business owners/decision makers, emails and networking.

Conduct regular field visits to prospect and generate sales.

Build and maintain successful relationships with clients, partners and vendors within assigned sector and territory.

Any other duties that may be assigned.
Business Development Job Knowledge/Experience/Skills

Bachelor Degree in a business related field.

Proficiency in ICT.

At least 2 years progressive sales management experience.

Experience in leading and motivating a team and driving results.

Excellent communication skills with ability to generate reports.

Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact with clients at all levels.
