Our client is an international company that produces and provides the food and beverage industries with raw materials using natural ingredients. 

They seek to hire a sales manager to maintain and expand customer database across East Africa. 

This candidate should also have understanding of food production process.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and strengthen business in the southern and eastern parts of Africa preferably in the beverage industry


• Implementation of innovational sales strategies in collaboration with the management


• Leading and steering of sales support activities related to established and newly acquired customers


• Establish and expand long term customer relationship


• Manage all projects proactively, meeting deadlines and customer‘s expectations


• Prioritization of projects to achieve the expectations of the customers


• Think and act commercially, understand customer needs and challenges and support technical sales and customers in selecting the right products

Competencies & Qualifications Desired

• Degree in beverage & food technology or related technical background preferred


• Professional field sales experience of minimum 5 years in the food & beverage industry


• Excellent sensory skills and passion to work with food and beverages


• Should have worked with high profile companies


• Should be mature, strong administrative skills, self-driven, result oriented, ambitious and ready to take challenges.


• Should have good networking in the country/region
