Recycling Points Manager Job in Kenya - Waste Management Company

Our client is a leading Waste management company in Kenya with a goal of promoting socio-economic and environmental change. 

They are in need of a Manager Recycling Points. 

The position is Based in Nairobi.

Duties and Responsibilities (Functional requirements)

• Ability to design, implement and adapt operational processes and underlying data systems to support and monitor compliance


• Indepth understanding of operational details


• Proven tough, transparent and fair people management skills


• Commercial understanding of in-/output ratios and processual KPIs


• Ability to realistically plan and forecast, including foreseeing and proactively tackling issues


• Create transparency on operations and challenges at every point

Job Specifications

• Min 3-5 years experience in an adjacent product production process with variable input leading to multiple output, eg from a packhouse or central food production unit (catering or canteen, also in Healthcare)


• Expertise in compliance with rigorous check-lists and high appreciation of quality KPIs


• Adaptability to an evironment of constant change, i.e. by proactively creating buffers to adapt to spontaneous input increases


• Experience in people management in similar role


• Open and honest communication style


• Strong interest of working in and taking a start-up culture to the next level
