Software Developer Job in Kenya (65K)

Our client, a leading Supplier in East and Central Africa of weighing and catering equipment is seeking to recruit a Software Developer. 

The successful candidate MUST have relevant working experience in a similar setup for more than 2 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, installation, testing and maintenance of software systems.


• Reviewing current systems.


• Presenting ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals.


• Producing detailed specifications and writing the program codes.


• Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live.


• Preparation of training manuals for users.


• Maintaining the systems once they are up and running.


• Knowledge of day to day IT support is an added advantage. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT or related.


• Expertise in current computer hardware and software.


• Ability to use one or more development language.


• Strong communication skills.


• Eye for detail and identifying problems.


• At least 2 years in the same field.


• Quick in execution of tasks.


• High level of integrity and honesty.


• Ability to contribute to team success by having a positive attitude to work.


• Self-driven and motivated.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 65,000/= (Approx. 650 USD)
