Our client the supply of Organic Vegetables grown in Nairobi, Gilgil and Naivasha is looking to fill the position of Sales, Marketing and Logistics Manager to be based in Langata, Nairobi.
The successful candidate Must be will to work in a start – up environment, hardworking with relevant experience in sales, marketing and operation management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Refine and develop the existing systems of communication with customers and the farm.
- Quickly build the customer base at a rate of 25% per week to achieve the target 500 customers within six months.
- Oversee the running of the nursery and the sale of plants in conjunction with the owner.
- In order to achieve building the customer base and sales targets he/she should engage in social media, engage with vegetable shops, go to schools, fairs, markets and any other events that will attract our customers.
- Drive the development of an online platform for sales.
Qualifications:
- Have the aptitude for setting up and enforcing systems and procedures.
- Be prepared to work long hours if necessary.
- Able to act independently within guidelines.
- Willing to work under pressure.
- Willing to commit to at least 12 months.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in business.
- Have a minimum of two years of experience in senior management.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 200,000 /= (Approx. 2,000 USD)
