We currently are seeking to recruit qualified Candidate for the above role for our client a leading Luxury Camp and Safaris Company in East Africa.

The Successful candidate will be will be responsible for maintenance of all facilities at Camp.

Roles & Responsibilities
 

 

The role entails (but not limited) to overseeing all Installation, repair & maintenance of all mechanical and electrical systems of the camp

• Lead the  Maintenance teams &  program


• Lead both electrical & mechanical teams in Installation, Repair and Maintenance needs in the Camp as needed


• Liaise with other departments to coordinate guest services and resolve emerging issues promptly


• Evaluate & manage the need for service contracts and efficiencies in the management of the processes


• Prepare annual departmental operating and capital budgets


• Foster teamwork and recognition to get the job done


• Monitors and controls the inventories of operating supplies and monitoring set control system follow up.


• Ensures quality management and continuous improvement of internal systems and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree / diploma in mechanical / electrical engineering


• Must have at least 5 years’ experience as a Camp Manager in a Luxury Tented Camp / Safari Lodges in the Bush


• Willing to live and work in the bush


• Good knowledge in Food & Beverage.


• Capacity of organization, advanced planning and team management
