HR Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
The job holder shall contribute to the overall planning and execution of the Human Resources strategy, with a prime focus on the following:
- Recruitment and orientation of new employees
- Performance Management and Training and Development
- Leave and Attendance Management and taking of minutes during meetings
- HR records management, preparation of proposals & development of presentations
- Implementation of Change Management and Talent Management initiatives
- Employment law compliance and the implementation of HR Policies
- Population of systems and online department documents
- Tracking and management of Staff Contracts
- Employee Engagement activities and Discipline Management
- Calculation of HR ratios and preparation of HR Reports
- Handling internal client requests up to conclusion and with research and trend analysis
- Collaborating closely with the various functional units and departments in the Company to ensure that business objectives are achieved, and managing internal and external client relations
- Payroll Processing
- Any other duties that may be allocated from time to time
Requirements
- Must be currently living in Mombasa, Kenya
- Business degree from a recognized university (degree in Human Resources is preferred)
- Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management
- Advanced proficiencies in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar capacity is a must
