Summary

We are looking for an experienced audit associate to assist our accounting team with the drafting and filing of financial audits. In this role, you will be required to plan and direct financial audits, prepare budgets, draft financial statements, and create internal auditing systems and procedures. To ensure success as an audit associate, you should demonstrate advanced knowledge of accounting and auditing standards and display excellent attention to detail. The audit senior should be able to lead a team of at least two assistants in conducting financial, performance and operational audits efficiently.

Audit Senior Responsibilities:

1. Leading engagement teams to ensure that work performed meets quality standards and is executed in line with Olsen Partner’s standards.


2. Effectively documenting work in accordance to the firms performance standards.


3. Supervising the team, reviewing working papers on a daily basis, provide coaching, ensuring audit conclusions are well- documented.


4. Proactively manage client issues and expectations.


5. Provide on-the-job training and supervision of the audit Assistants and trainees.

Qualifications/requirements:

1. Qualified CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.


2. A Bachelors’ degree in a business related field.


3. Minimum of two years’ experience as an audit senior/semi-senior or a similar position and at least 3 years of combined audit experience.


4. Excellent interpersonal, report writing and communication skills.


5. Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and International Standards on Auditing.


6. Good Report writing skills


7. Effective time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
