SUMMARY
The Programme Support Associate must be a driven, organized, tech-savvy professional with great people and project-managing skills, and the ability to analyse an organisation and understand its learning and development needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Programme Management
- Support project managers in managing programme schedules; programme milestones and programme activities
- Support project managers during learning labs; ensuring that learning sessions are set up on zoom or physically, learning sessions materials are ready, organized and properly documented.
- Play a key role in collecting; cleaning and analysing data required for monitoring programme outcomes.
- Support the monitoring and documenting environmental and social impact reports for Key programmes such as AGRA and other similar reports.
- Support with contracting and procurement of consultants for programs
Sourcing support
- Support the interlinkage between the programme team and marketing team during sourcing and selection process of our programmes
Logistics management support
- Support liaison with technology providers to prepare for sessions such as the CALA leadership forums
- Prepare collateral for learning labs
Programme documentation
- Ensure that program data is organized, formatted, and stored in an orderly manner
Data Management
- Support programme managers to prepare data dashboard updates in readiness project quality reviews such as Project Team Meetings and Monthly Overview Meetings and Project reporting.
REQUIEMENTS
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
- Fluent in spoken and written French
- Strong analytical skills – ability to understand and analyse learning and development needs
- Ability to identify business challenges and turn them in to learning and development solutions
- Outstanding Programme Management and Project Management skills
- Ability to develop and implement replicable processes
- Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal. Ability to liaise confidently with clients
- Strong people skills – ability to work with a diverse, high-performing team across Africa
- Independent, self-motivated and able to take full ownership of own workstreams
- Understanding of the management education/ corporate training in East Africa
- A commitment to AMI’s values of excellence, innovation and accountability
- Willingness to engage in robust debate alongside deep respect for others

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERRIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in programme management, documentation and data management
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience working in entrepreneurial or high-growth environment
