Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) is a corporate body established under the Statistics Act (2006). It is the principal Government agency responsible for the collection, compilation, analysis, publication and dissemination of official statistical information and its custody.

Job Purpose:
An Intern at this level will work under a senior officer who will be appointed as a Supervisor to guide him /her in the performance of duties in the area of Corporate Communications.
Duties and Responsibilities: –
- Participating in scheduling interviews with the media and other stakeholders;
- Participating in initiating and organizing events;
- Participating in organizing open days and exhibiting Bureau products and services;
- Participating in exhibiting Bureau products and services;
- Participating in developing publicity materials;
- Participating in photographing topical events
- Working closely with the Mentor, Supervisor and colleagues to implement programmes and activities of the Directorate;
- Undertaking any other duties assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements for Appointment
- Must be a Kenyan citizen;
- Must have attained a Bachelor Degree in Corporate Communications; Mass Communication; Journalism; Public Relations or related qualifications from a recognized institution
