Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief officer for the following: –
- Handles mooring Ropes during ship docking and undocking
- Cleanse ship decks, hull, stores and rooms.
- Operates capstan/winches etc. during casting-off or berthing of the ships at all ports of call.
- Carries out safety/emergency maneuvers as directed/required.
- Works cargo and cargo gear at port of call.
Requirements
- Form four certificate
- STCW
