Limited located in Nakuru is looking for a Field Finance
& Administration Officer for its team.
The overall responsibility for
this role is providing the field team with financial and administrative
support.
The Key roles for this position are to:-
- Co-ordinate with procurement on field expenses to ensure
these are competitively sourced, products delivered/services performed and
costs booked in the books of accounts accurately and timely and facilitate
timely payments to vendors. - Reconciliation of all field related payments via M-Pesa and
check offs. - Generating farmer payroll and following up farmers payments
to ensure they are timely and accurate - Generating casual payroll, ensuring its accurate as to
amounts and people and facilitating payment of the same on a timely basis. - Compilation of field staff operation expense requirements and
facilitating advance of the same. - Review field staff accountabilities reports for accuracy and
updating accounting records with the same. - Reconciliation of KPCL supplier accounts.
- Track and maintain office and field inventory, organize and
attend periodic physical inventory counts - Working with the field team, reconcile differences between
flower purchases and deliveries to the factory. - Support data entry, tracking and reporting of all field
databases as directed. - Ensure all KPCL assets are insured and following up on claims
- Managing and maintaining the office filing system
- Ensuring the office is clean and habitable at all times.
- Support all administrative functions and overseeing smooth
running of the Nakuru field office
Qualifications and work experience required for this
role
- Degree in a business related field from an accredited
institution. - MUST CPA Finalist.
- At least 3 years relevant experience
- High level of accuracy
- High level of integrity
- Office administration and management
- Good Interpersonal and Communication
- Experience in reporting and data presentation
- Good in analysis
- Ability to make decisions on issues
- Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Motivated and self-driven.
- Proficiency in MS Office and database
- Proficiency with field data collection tools and systems
