Job Requirements

• Be in possession of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution; and


• Be registered by Engineer`s Registration Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer.


• 3 Years post-graduation Experience in an Engineering field


• Proficiency in the relevant computer applications


• Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of construction and maintenance of Street lighting and other Electrical works being undertaken by the County Government.


• Planning, organizing, and collecting of economic, environmental and social data for various Nairobi City County Lighting &Energy investment programs and strategies.


• Preparation of bid documents for County Projects.


• Preparation of Electrical Engineering Designs of all Electrical and Energy Projects


• Preparation and reviewing of tender documentation for Electrical and Energy Projects.


• Preparing records for Lighting and Energy asset database;


• Preparation of procurement plans for Lighting and Energy Projects,


• Performing any other lawful duties as may be assigned from time to time
