Job Requirements

• Served in the grade of Inspector III or in a comparable and relevant position for at least three (3) years; and


• A Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Technician part III or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution.


• Have two (3) Years relevant experience


• Have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized Higher Learning Institution


• Be registered as a graduate Technician Engineer with the EBK (Engineers Board of Kenya); and


• Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and maintaining electrical installations in all County Government Buildings


• Testing and mainlining electrical controls related to fire-detection equipment, cookers, water-heaters and general domestic appliances; inspection; and


• Day to day Supervision of all Lighting and Energy projects and programmes


• Maintaining electrical controls in power generating plants and machinery.


• Performing any other lawful duties as may be assigned from time to time
