Reports to: HR Business Partner
Purpose of the position
The purpose of the position holder is to ensure assessment, design and delivery of appropriate learning and development programmes to support the Retail Sales department objectives.
Duties/Responsibilities
Ensure delivery of appropriate learning programs to support retail sales business objectivesFacilitate and collate training needs to assist in pulling together the training proposals Design and develop training and development programs and curriculum in liaison with the sales managersManage the effectiveness of learning interventions, monitor and improve the interventions where necessaryParticipate in sourcing for providers for training programmes where training cannot be administered in-houseAdminister in-house training to staff and co-ordinate any external trainingProvide guidance and assistance to the business on training and sales staff developmentResearch trends locally and internally with regards to curricula best practicesEnsure that statutory training requirements are met which include the Certificate of Proficiency and Association of Kenya InsurersEnsure Accreditation and /or attestation of agents as per the Retail Competency FrameworkPrepare the requisite training reports for advising the business Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Technical Knowledge
At least 2 years progressive experience in Sales management, Training or related fieldA degree in education or business related fieldGood Communication, Presentation and Interpersonal skillsInitiative and ability to offer new ideasGood planning and organizational skillsDemonstrate a personal commitment to improving their knowledge and skillsPlease send your CV and remuneration details: theleadrecruiter@gmail.com
