We seek qualified candidates for the position of Project Director position based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Position Responsibilities:
The Project Director will provide overall management, operations, coordination and leadership support for an anticipated USAID-supported national coordination project in Kenya. S/he will serve as the main contact for the donor and partners. The purpose of this project is to strengthen overall coordination with the MOH and relevant GOK agencies to ensure greater effectiveness and efficiency in the national response to HIV.
Minimum Requirements:
BS/BA and 9-11 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience; or MS/MA in public health or related field and 7-9 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience; or PhD/MD or equivalent degree and 5-7 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience. Overseas field experience required. Previous programming experience with national-level projects an asset. Knowledge of USAID, PEPFAR and local government a plus.
