Business Development Executive

Location: Nairobi

Our client, a leading security company in Nairobi is looking for a Business Development Executive.

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing market share for the following products; Access Control Systems, Alarm Monitoring & Response Systems, Audio/Video Intercom Systems, CCTV Surveillance, Fire Detection & Response Systems, Security Training Services, Vehicle Surveillance (UVSS/ANPR) among others.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement Marketing strategies to retain and attract new clients.Conduct Market surveys and research for existing and new Security Products.Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clientsPrepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be madeFollow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activityIdentify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assignedPrepare presentations, proposals and sales contractsDevelop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledgeEstablish and maintain current client and potential client relationshipsPrepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract servicesManage account services through quality checks and other follow-upIdentify and resolve client concerns, customer carePrepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up and adherence to goalsCommunicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staffFollow up on all service contracts with the clientsCoordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close salesDevelop and implement special sales activities to reduce stockOther duties as assignedParticipate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing eventsFollow-up for collection of paymentProvide on-job-training to new sales employeesKnowledge and Skill Requirements
