Sales Manager Vacancy Announcement

Our client is based in Kenya as a wholly owned subsidiary of a Fortune 500 company. That is part of an enlarged group that has had over 100 billion sterling pounds of assets under management.

With approximately millions of life assurance policyholders, banking customers, short-term insurance policyholders and more than 1 million unit trust accounts worldwide making our client one of the top forty asset managers of the world.

Our client is looking to recruit a seasoned Sales Manager reporting to the Head of Retail Affluent.

Purpose of the Position

To coach, manage and achieve results through the allocated Personal Financial Advisors, in order to achieve Agency and individual PFA’s targets in line with Regional targets and the organizations objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Recruitment and selection

Participate in recruitment and selection process in line with the Company policyParticipate in the Agents induction Facilitate Agents training and development sessionsCoach and mentor the AgentsCounsel and resolve disputes or disagreements at the Agency levelMonitor and evaluate Agents developmentsContinuously enhance team skills Identify and nurture talent/high performersEnsure completion and signing of performance contractsContinuously review the individual PFA’s performanceMotivate the Agency teamMonitor individual and team targetsEnsuring compliance within the AgencyPutting customer first, ensure appropriate delivery of customer valueOther Duties and Responsibilities
Collect and collate feedback from the market Communicate policy decisions to the Agency teamLiaising with the RSM and the marketing department to implement the appropriate marketing strategiesEstablishing and maintaining a sound client base and leadsSafeguarding and enhancing the company’s brandManage and reduce business risksReceive and manage feedback from the market Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
Degree or diploma in a business related fieldCertificate of proficiency (added advantage)Good IT skills At least 2 years progressive experience in sales managementGood interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to excel in a fast paced, multi faceted team environmentStrong presentation skills Ability to work under minimum supervisionHow to apply:
